Dated 1909 from South Pacific Region. Has not been circulated since WWII. It is in good condition with four folds from handling. I need to know what country it is from? The links to the photos are listed below. My Father-in-law was stationed in India during WWII and I think he brought this note back from that area of the world. It has not been circulated since. I'm thinking of selling it on Ebay but, would like to know more about it first.

That is an extremely common Czarist Russian 10 Roubles that you've got there. There were also 1909-dated notes issued during the Russian Civil War (1917-23),but I don't know how to distinguish these issues from the original issue,as I can't read Russian.

Aidan.

This note has three signature combos: Timashev(1903-1909), Konshin(1909-1912) and Shipov(1912-1917). THe notes signed by Shipov are the most common. The second most common notes are signed by Konshin and the most desired notes are signed by Timashev. This note is signed by Konshin. The notes by Shipov were printed until well after his term.
