I wonder if Zimbabwe economy would have been better off if they actually printed less of these notes.
I have been touch with a friend of mine from Zim who lives in SA. She says her folks had to close their cloth shop and the gov only allows withdrawal of 5 -10 billion a day.....I am wondering so how will someone get 100 trillion out...!!!
Anyway fun for us collectors... |

Although the Euro, the Pound Sterling, the Pula, the Rand,& the U.S. Dollar are now legal tender in Zimbabwe, the Zimbabwean economy is still in a mess right now.
The only things that are being issued by both the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe & private companies is petrol coupons, which are denominated in Litres.
I wouldn't mind getting some of those,in addition to more Zimbabwean notes, especially of the 2009 issue, which lasted less than a month in circulation.
